The kmo servers sit securely behind Cisco-powered firewalls. Additional security is provided by a Web Application Firewall (WAF), inbound/outbound spam filtering and virus/malware detection.
kmo backs up your data fortnightly including full off-site backups. More frequent backups can be provided on request for an additional fee if required. Customers should also backup their own website in order to have a copy offsite at their own premises.
Infrastructure is protected by advanced physical security systems and protocols. These include a multi-layered access system with individual authentication using combined biometric fingerprint technology and ID access cards (IDACs), an extensive CCTV network and 24/7 onsite security staff.
The data centres are designed to a minimum of UTI Tier III standard, which means N+1 redundancy on all critical systems, delivering extremely high levels of service availability.
All network equipment is enterprise grade with multiple redundancy. The network is 100% provider neutral with interconnects to all major Australian network providers, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
